The Deer Creek Watershed Association seeks dedicated community members to join our board in 2025! We’re passionate about protecting Deer Creek’s natural resources for current and future generations.
What We Do:
- Educate the community, businesses, and policymakers on environmental issues.
- Promote environmental stewardship to address local concerns.
- Advocate for a healthy and vibrant watershed that supports diverse aquatic life while meeting community needs.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re building a passionate and diverse board with the skills to achieve our mission. We’re particularly interested in individuals with expertise in:
- Accounting & Finance
- Environmental Education
- Watershed Science
- Law, Policy & Advocacy
- Marketing & Fundraising
- Communications & Social Media
Board Member Responsibilities:
- Attend four annual board meetings.
- Actively contribute to accomplishing our mission by chairing or participating in various committee tasks, community events, and/or fundraising.
